Inspired by the depths of space, Bulova’s Lunar Pilot Black Hole captures the mysteries of the farthest reaches through one of Bulova’s legendary timepieces. The first Lunar Pilot offered in 41mm, the stainless steel case is water resistant to 100m and has black ion plating and a matte finish with a bright polished bezel and matching pushers. Under the flat sapphire crystal, the six-hand chronograph dial is blacked out with Musou paint that absorbs 99.4% of light, with a gun metal-tone tachymeter scale and a slim matching handset and applied markers with grey Super-LumiNova for low-light display. The recessed, circular grooved sub-dials include a 1/20 chronograph seconds counter at 3 o’clock, running seconds hand at 6 o’clock, and 60-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock. The Lunar Pilot Black Hole is powered by one of Bulova’s proprietary high precision quartz movements, resonating at a frequency of 262khz for unparalleled accuracy and allowing a sweeping chronograph hand and running seconds hand. The watch is paired with a matching black ion plated 3-link stainless steel bracelet with a push-button deployant clasp. Delivered in a special Black Hole box with a travel case and Bulova clock, the limited-edition Bulova Lunar Pilot Black Hole pushes this historic timepiece to a new frontier.
